I like to describe myself as a self-proclaimed “Creator of Worlds”, focusing on the science fiction, fantasy and action genre. I'm a self-taught author, screenwriter, director, producer and visual effects generalist. I've been involved in some form of creative arts for many years. In 2012, I began my foray into film-making by entering the “48 Hour Film Project” in DC by writing and producing the short film “To Wrong A Right”. In 2015 I ventured into directing via the short film “Dark Awakening”, which I also wrote and produced. I followed up by creating short films such as, “The Interrogation” and in 2017 created the grind-house martial arts short film “Age of the Warrior”, which was accepted into several film festivals and winning “Best Action” award at the Urban Action Film Festival sponsored by HBO in New York. I also began presenting my film-making panel “Film Making: Concept to Completion” at various conventions. In 2018 I was hired to produce a film/live visual performance for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation called “Warriors of the Red Ribbon”. In 2020 I filmed a scene from my feature length screenplay “BLOOD/CLAN: Book of Syn” for the Sundance Collab feature film directing workshop. I followed this up by writing my first novel “BLOOD/CLAN: Harbinger of Death”, released in 2022. My latest short film, Closet Convergence, was shot during the 2023 “48 Hour Film Project-Baltimore” and later won a 2023 Gold Viddy Award and the award for best VFX at the inaugural “Beers & Fear” Halloween Film festival.

Black Rose Dagger Films entry into the 48 Hour Film Project-Baltimore.
This is a short film scene I filmed from my feature length screenplay also called BLOOD/CLAN: Book of SYN. It was filmed for the Sundance Institute Collab feature film directing workshop I took. As a side note, I also wrote and released a BLOOD/CLAN prequel novel called BLOOD/CLAN: Harbinger of Death that is available on Amazon.
A full CG music video for artist Kevin Wendell Jones I directed and created over the course of seven months. I rendered the project at home using Octane in C4D on my GeForce RTX 2080. Models from Kitbash and Turbosquid were used in this project.
